Mother's Day

A great night out last night with Jon and Danielle. We went to Cau where it seems Jon is a regular as we were greeted with free Champagne and a great table. It is Argentinian so lots of meat and the food was very good. H and I shared a massive bit of steak (I think that Jon and Danielle's looked better though). Then back to theirs through the snow for a drink.

We spent a lot of the evening discussing Hendstock as they were part of it last year and are keen to make sure it is as good if not better this time. Enthusiasm is very infectious, and four heads are better than two, there was even mention of a committee but I think we'll let that slide ;) We are aiming for a hundred this year so need to push things along a bit. Then home in snow, so much for spring.


H's mum and dad over for lunch today, to celebrate Mother's Day. As usual I got the timing wrong for the roast but I did manage to get the beef to the correct level of rawness.
