Notocelia Rosaecolana

This little tiny moth - Notocelia Rosaecolana - caught my eye this morning because its wings looked very interesting when it was flying. I waited patiently for it to sit down and then managed to take a photo with my phone. My Seek app subsequently told me it was "Doubleday's Notocelia Moth" which, it turns out, is an Asian and European moth that has been introduced to the USA. So there we are! I seem to remember that Tiny Tuesday's theme this week might be "animal" and given that I have a naturalist friend who calls insects animals, I figure this can be made to fit the theme.  ;-)
