A tempest in a tea cup

Is this not beautiful? Jasmine-scented green tea leaves steeping in a clear cup. An yet, like many tea leaves, they hold a story. The tea was a healing gift to my assistant's daughter from a dear friend. However successful the loving gesture may have been, the young woman died. And now her mother brews tea at work. sipping the brew of friendship and grief.
