Bright and Cheery

I don't know of any animal that eats buttercups so perhaps that's why there is such a proliferation of these flowers in fields and on the roadside. Even the cows grazing in the fields munch their way around them.

I managed to select a dry spell to get out with Pepper for a while and the sun lit up these cheerful little flowers nicely.

'Best of the Best' Competition at camera club this evening with all the top scoring images of the season pitted against each other. We have a judge to give critique and then members having the final vote. It will be interesting.
