Time for another round
Usual day - walk down to the town, buy a paper, walk back up. Rather dull, got better as the day went on.
Went to the Glencruitten Walled Garden after lunch - a ten minute drive. Planted my runner beans - 30 small pots. I left a few at home as I'd just potted them from a collective pan where I'd sown them as spares - I'll plant them next week when I got back to plant the peas and spuds.
Weeded and cleaned up the other bed - the spuds will be going there when I've dug a couple of trenches. I miss having staff to do these menial chores!!
Stopped on my way past the golf course as I hadn't really got anything suitable for a Blip, or at least nothing that I hadn't Blipped before. The golf course is a first!
Quote of the Day:
James Barrett Reston - “Golf: A plague invented by the Calvinistic Scots as a punishment for man’s sins.”
