Clematis Alpina

A walk in the park ..... no rain, no wind just plenty of sunshine which lasted till just after lunch when the heavier clouds rolled in but the rain has stayed away.

I once had a clematis Montana in the garden but in a relatively short time it was far too large and other shrubs were in danger of being choked so I removed it while I still could.

This pretty clematis is growing in the Pollok House car park where it shares the ground with some dwarf azaleas and rhododendrons.
