Diary Blip (Saturday 8th May 2021)

Diary blip. This is the work so far that the landscapers have been undertaking at the house next door, as spied from my study window. The fencing is new and the work on the paving stones is nearly done, although each day there is little to see in the way of change despite the team seeming busy throughout the day with pile drivers, mallets and truck loads of shingle and materials. The paving stones look quite different after it has rained.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Love - August (recorded September 1968, Los Angeles CA)
On this day I saw a film called Charlie Says, in which Matt Smith plays Charles Manson, mostly in flashbacks because the film is mostly concerned with three of the girls in his 'Family' that he coerced into acts of darkness including murder and who were incarcerated for life in the Special Security Unit at the California Institution for Women. Three of the songs on the soundtrack were by the Los Angeles band Love, including this old favourite from their Four Sail album.
