A new name..

..is desperately needed for this beautiful insect. Why it is called BUTTER-FLY has always been a mistery to me..and extending the name to all the beautiful species of Lepidoptera feels like an insult to the superfamily! I think it would be a good idea to launch a competition to find a more appropriate name to this beauty.
Oh, and it doesn't get better with the common name for this particular species:
"common blue"!
Really!
I know it is a common species and the upper wing is blue, but would it be too much to ask for a bit more creativity?
Well, at least the latin specific name is icarus!
