Monday: An Exciting Night In Medicine Hat

As you may recall, us getting vaccinated with AZ has involved a trip to Medicine Hat and here we are, back for dose 2, which we’ll receive tomorrow.

It involved an early (0600!) flight to Calgary and then picking up a hire car to drive to Medicine Hat.  In all honesty, it’s a dull drive - just very flat.  I’m generally not wild about  Alberta - we’ve seen a few cars today that have white supremacist symbols on them, as well as car stickers that advocate oil sands.  Although there are liberal pockets here and there folks here are kicking back

Alberta also currently has the highest Covid infection rate in North America so there are very few dining options.  Restaurants and patios are closed so we ordered a Chinese takeaway to our motel (which does have great signage - see extra).  Luckily I’d nabbed a few chopsticks from am earlier shopping expedition, so we managed our in room dining experience.
