Knarly
January was months ago, as here I am back-blipping in early May. So I don't recall why I stopped here on my bike ride into Suffolk, close to Shelley, but it might well have been simply to photograph these trunks.
Later on the ride, near Polstead, I came across a flooded lane. It happened to be the furthest point from home and therefore the most likely spot to pinch puncture both the front and rear tubes on a submerged pothole. 40 minutes later, I'd replaced the tubes in both the front and rear wheels and was happy to be on the move again.
I should think further about using the mountain bike more in the winter.
