Happe Muthes Daye

So today is Mother's Day and my fabulous daughter has made me a picture book of where she goes swimming and her swimming... With a bit of help from the life guards, and our family support worker Cos obviously A can't take a photograph of herself swimming however brilliant and awesome I think she is! I also got a home made card.. Anything to encourage her to write;)

I also got a bunch of daffodils due to my husband and mr tescos.. And we had a lovely tea of scratched pork I think it's called... Pork cooked very slowly so it literally falls away in the mouth.. It was yummy...

So a lovely day here on the happy Mother's Day front.

The history of Mother's Day is probably very lost on our 21st century children and parents however and i do think its sad that some of my carers wernt able to spend quality time with there own children today but we did send them home with some Pork... So they could have something yummy for tea too...
