Broad Beans

The beautiful flowers are starting to appear on the broad bean plants in the fields around Linton.  We've had rain at last and are promised warmer weather in the weeks to come so the plants are springing into life.

I've started writing things in my diary again and am wondering whether to brave moving to the electronic calendar on my phone.  I've still got the Filofax on the go which I've had for at least 25 years and I do like being able to 'visualise' the week ahead which I can only do if I write it down...

I think I'm not quite ready to make the jump yet.
