Gently falling blossom
Can’t keep away from the blossom on the Stray, blossom bathing is bliss! - and now in the wind the petals are falling. It is so so beautiful. A little girl was scooping up petals and throwing them up as she jumped into the air, and a man with a camera on a tripod remarked that the couple of days when the petals are falling are his favourite - he invited me to walk among them taking photos - so I may now be featuring in a short video in which the falling blossom will be the star!
Thanks to blipper IrwellRiver for introducing me to HANAMI - the Japanese custom of contemplating the impermanence of life by gazing at the fleeting beauty of blossoming flowers
