Ham Hill Stone Circle

I met up with my friend Roger at Ham Hill this morning (no Carly the retriever today as Roger had to come on his motorbike) for a brief stroll and a long chat over coffee.

I’ve blipped the stones here a few times before but they were looking particularly fine today so here they are again. This isn’t an ancient monument though; it was only put up to mark the millennium in 2000 and is made out of the local ham-stone, which is quarried just out of picture to the left.

Tess and I spent the afternoon tidying the back garden, cutting the grass and weeding.
