More Rain

The weather forecast for today was mostly dry with some showers developing later...well they were wrong...and I was out putting up a couple of fence panels at our daughter’s.

It wasn’t a straight swap, because the person/s who put the last lot up had used non-standard sizes, so I had to cut two standard sized panels down and of course the gaps were not squared off and then the screws holding the brackets were rusted solid and had to be drilled out..bloomin’ awkward all round. And half way through it started raining and thundering. Not fun

Had hoped to get it all done this morning, but I didn’t get back home until nearly four p.m. Had to pull over driving back as the rain was so heavy.

During a brief lull in the deluge I nipped into the garden and photographed some apple blossom
