Silence

Yesterday, my girlfriends grandfather died after being terminally ill for almost 3 years. Today we went to see him, say our last goodbyes, and put him in his casket, to prepare him for his final journey. This is the view through one of the windows. I've always loved to look out of this window, especially, when the sun shines through the curtains. There is a silent and calm atmosphere to the photo, that describes the day perfectly. Rest in peace Poul. You will be missed!
