Bugs

It is probably a so-called common maybug, but I cannot remember ever seeing one and I really think it is the Japanese beetle. How little I know.

We have shut down the boiler so as not to be disturbed all night again. For the time being it will only turned on when we take a shower. The technician cannot come earlier as the following Tuesday and will inform us about a new boiler. It can be repaired, but since we have had it for 17 years, we suspect there will be a more environmentally friendly version. New appliances are often much better in terms of energy technology.
Of course we expect that we do not need heating until after the summer. This can take quite a long time.
