May collage. Rishton.
The weather has been very changeable here in Rishton, with a cyclic pattern of dark low grey clouds, rain and dazzling bright sunshine.
After doing housework and the Monday laundry, I managed to enjoy a short blip walk with my camera in a sunny interlude.
My greatest joy is the blossom during this time, but it is beginning to fall from the trees and coat the pavements, so walking carefully is essential.
Mum was very tired when my sister visited her yesterday evening and Mum is mostly in bed these past few days, with nasal oxygen, because her breathing is not easy. It is still about an infection in her body, and the need for anti biotics to cure it. I pray so much the future holds a better cure for bodily infections as the antibiotics have caused Mum episodes of confusion after long use. Her three broken bones after the fall, have been x rayed and it will take time for them to heal. Mum is a faith filled Catholic and faith is a good source of supporting healing, even at 93 years old. and not put weight on the bones, or it will cause pain.
The goal is to let Mum rest and recover if she can, and then get help at the care home to walk. It is all hope and prayers, but something to aspire to.
The wind is powerful now and not too cold.
Have a good day and an enjoyable week ahead everyone.
