Happy Mother's Day ....

.... goslings.

In order to beat the showers that are forecasted for this afternoon we got out before lunch for our nature walk.  Graver Arboretum was our destination.   We didn't see all that much wildlife ... mostly birds.  

But we did come across this lovely Canada goose family with it's four little goslings.  So appropriate for Mother's Day.  

On our way home we stopped at the grocery store for a few things. Then we were home for the rest of the day.  I talked to both my brother and mom later in the evening.  

I've done a quick catch up on my journal (again!) ... starting with a lovely Ruby-throated hummingbird.
