Stars of spring

Is spring finally here? It's been a quieter day at work as I only had one meeting scheduled so I had some time to catch up on things. I also managed to have short walk in the park as it was such a beautiful day. I sat on the bench reflecting on life and just enjoying the feeling of the sun on my face. The flowers were pushing their heads out of the soil and a carpet of crocuses, daffodils and snowdrops were everywhere. Everyone was out and about making the most of the weather. I had arranged to meet my old housemate Amy after work but she had to cancel due to work commitments so I had an exciting evening of ironing instead!
