Mother's Day

It’s been our tradition to have a picnic (with fish and chips for some) at Gasworks Park on this day but for a second year in a row, we didn’t go there…but this was better ! in Eric and Anne’s  big yard with the dogs chasing each other around.   Extra:  Oskar and Nik both have slight Bball injuries to ankle and knee … Aunt Kirsten  (our family PT) was able to give them some advice and exercises.  Tatum has picked out a  roommate for school in the fall (of course there is some website to do this!?)  Fiona made yummy cupcakes for everyone,   Boppa spoils those dogs by feeding them, but they have so much fun.  Cocoa Bean had a bite out of Nanna’s tulips, as well as some of Fi’s fish and chips. (can’t she learn better manners??)    And I set the iPhone on a little tripod and took the picture from my watch.  Had the camera too but this was easier and it had a big ISO for the shade…

We know how lucky we are!…we’re in the same town and can get together, but I think this is the first with everyone at once for a long time…maybe fall ?  (so had to be the blip).  They  will all (except 11 yo Fiona) have both their vaccines very soon and soon we can dispense with all masks when we are together .
