Llandudno

We ventured into Llandudno this afternoon as we wanted to buy light fittings, DIY stuff and look for a new sofa - there's something nice about furnishing a new house :-)

Once we were finished, we parked up on the seafront  and had a walk along the promenade and onto the pier.  My cousin had a bench done in memory of her mum and dad who used to love going to Llandudno, so we decided to look for it.  There are lots of benches, but we found it, so sat on it for a while and took a photo to send to Pauline.  This photo is taken from the beach looking towards the Great Orme, and my friend Clare's house is up that very steep hill, but from this angle you can't actually see her house as it's blocked by trees.

As we left the pier, we stopped to get two donuts and we ate them as we were walking back towards the cars, when I got attacked from behind from a cheeky seagull who snatched the donut out of my hands as I went to eat it!

We go home about 6.30pm, unloaded the car, got changed and then went next door for Phil's birthday party in the garden.  It was nice to be invited and great that we didn't have far to go home!
