Annie and Foster

Another day out at Oxford Art Weeks. This morning we met friends and visited the Kingham Lodge sculpture trail. Lots of interesting pieces. We found an outdoor cafe for lunch and then went on to visit a small owl sanctuary. Annie and several of her friends were bought a year’s adoption of some of the owls last Christmas. This was a chance to meet them "in person". The blip shows Annie and her adopted owl, Foster. He's a Canadian great horned owl. They bonded well! 

This evening we've had friends here in the garden for a takeaway curry. We had the umbrellas out for a bit but the rain relented when the food arrived. Nice to be semi-normal.
