Light and Dark

It was definitely a day of highs and lows.

Stan and I got a good walk in round Ebworth this morning, and then I had a spin out on the bike and ended up at the Oily Rag cafe, as frequented by Henry Cole no less, which was all good.  Getting home the trickle charger for the battery didn't want to work, which was not so good.

Later that day Freya came home with her friend Edith, which was great, to pick up the Clio to take it back to London, but when the time came it wouldn't start due to a faulty battery!  Damn you Halfords!!  AA to the rescue and off they drove, only two hours later than hoped.
