Scalloway Castle Drawbridge

Showers this morning, and remained dull most of the day.  Still a cold wind too.

Up early, and mostly a lazy day around the house.  I got out walkies around Scalloway this morning, and again with friend Julie in the afternoon.  An early start in the shop.  More walkies with Sammy, and the feet up, finish off the day lazy.  

Every day we pass the castle, and Sammy always wants to go in the gardens, but it remains closed.  They shut the castle just before the first lockdown last year, for essential maintenance and repairs, but only recently started the work.  Scaffolding has gone up inside, and they are using this window for an easy access door.  This ramp almost makes it look like it has a drawbridge now.  Hopefully Sammy will get a run around the gardens again soon.  Taken at Scalloway Castle, Scalloway.
