Clematis Montana

I planted this to cover the fence and give our original neighbours something more interesting to look at from their kitchen window, they loved it.
The next tenant's cat used to get itself trapped in it ( a stupid animal ) so they hacked it down when it was in flower, ( just as stupid as their cat ).
The current tenants seem to enjoy it and are happy for me to prune it as required. 
Two out of three ain't bad -:))
