Cairn

Another very pleasant day of exploring the Digne region with Louise and my parents.
We had never seen this cairn in the geological reserve where Sandy’s dad used to come every year in June to survey with his students before he retired.
The cairn is part of a series of artwork by Scottish artist Andy Goldsworthy whom we had the chance to chat with several times when we lived close to Dumfries. We always loved this link between our two countries.
