Cheesed off Chaffy

Poor old chaffinch doesn't look very happy and I can't say I blame him, the weather is a bit grim - dull and snowy all day so far.
I have been playing with my new toy that MrPN surprised me with yesterday while we were out shopping. He was really busy at Christmas and didn't manage to get me a present (I had a wrapped IOU - not sure if that is good or bad) but he knew that I had been hankering after this particular camera for a while and the clincher was that it was on offer, so my IOU was fulfilled. The weather has been so bad that I haven't been able to put it through it's paces but I am really pleased with the photos it is producing so far, in these awful dull conditions at a really high ISO. Time will tell if it lives up to the reviews that I have read about it :-)
