Today is Mothers’ Day in New Zealand.  This morning hubby and I went out for a walk before taking my Mum for breakfast.  This afternoon we drove my Mum to my sister’s for afternoon tea with sister, brother-in-law and some of their children and grandchildren which, of course, my Mum thoroughly enjoyed.  The blip shows two colourful trees we saw on our walk this morning and the lemon cake (beautifully decorated) and carrot cake cupcakes made by my sister’s 14-year-old granddaughter.  Delicious!!
