Out!

Work then hopped in ickle car and whizzed ( ok got to 65) down to Oxton to pick up one mum and the Kelso to meet with t’other so show off the car. Arrived at Kelso and put the top down ( mild drizzle) and phoned my mum to come outside. Her face was a TREAT!
Went to Cobbles for a mediocre meal but hey, we didn’t cook it and we were OUT. Surprised that there were so few dining in a Saturday night but how wonderful to do something so little and normal. Cheered up some older faces who miss the company more than they say.
Questioned my judgement in choice of car as mother had had a little clear out of clothes to give to R. Six black bags and also her Hello Fresh order which she now didn’t fancy. Tummies and laps were full on the way home!
