Kawarau

We woke to pouring rain this morning and thought our planned trip to Bannockburn to check out the new walking/cycling track might have to be abandoned.  However, the rain stopped so we went.  It turned into a sunny hot day with very little wind.  The colours and reflections in the river were fantastic - two extras.  A good place for tomorrow’s walk - we can park at Carrick (we checked) and can walk on from there.
