Revealed

Boarded up fireplace covered a 1950s tiled fireplace. Hearth and tiles revealed and removed the swivel kettle stand will remain. Now need to find the original or very near likeness of a cast iron hearth from 1845.
A wet and windy morning gradually calmed and turned to sunshine. The garden was a food fest for about a dozen swallow's whirling around - don't know where they came from as only so far seen about 4 at the most. Catalonia Grand Prix qualifying gave about expected grid - let's see how the race tomorrow goes. Wine arrived.( no French on a boycott because off the nonsense regarding fishing and threatening to cut electricity supplies to the channel isles etc. - thanks that we left that EU )
