The Curfew Hour

On the 13th March 2020, a national state of emergency was declared here in Spain for the Covid 19 pandemic. Today at midnight that state of emergency will be lifted and with it the 10pm to 6am curfew. Tomorrow, restaurants and cafes are allowed to open till 11pm, instead of 5pm, which has been the case for months now.  Nothing is allowed to be open after 11pm. The government will reassess the situation on 24th June.  As lovely as it will be to have the extra freedom and for businesses to earn again, many people, ourselves included, think the restrictions could have been eased in, eg closing things at 10pm at first or reducing the hours of the curfew. Let's hope people are sensible.

My blip shows the last curfew at 10pm and people rushing to get home.

Dinner was a cheese board and bread. Step count just over 10,000.
