Post gym / pre rugby snooze.

Its a grim grey damp day, its been trying to snow.

A day for tucking up with a good book, maybe doing some ironing, taking photos of stuff for ebaying (anyone want some almost brand new size 8 walking boots ? worn for 1 weekend by a rapidly growing boy !).

And I need to have a tiny rant :

Compare and contrast
1 ) 80 yr old man kills wife by strangulation with dog lead & bashing with claw hammer : 3yrs in prison

2) Woman stabs pregnant ex-girlfreind of husband no-one dies : 10yrs.
I bet she'd have got even more if she'd used her judgement & stabbed the husband.

But the subtext does still seem to be that it's OK for men to kill their wives (it must be, it happens so often).


How does that work ?
