Boats, for a change

A blustery day!  Had rain last night and in the morning. Cloudy, windy and small glimpses of the sun.

Walked and got the paper, had breakfast, phoned my friend and then went to see her for a quick visit. Made some lemon squares, oaty layer, then condensed milk,lemon juice and rind mixed together and another oaty layer, yummy! Potted up some tomato plants, had lunch.
 I then went for a long walk,17,520 steps for those interested! Walked through the boatyard where I took these photos.  The tide was right out and I took a photo of what I think is a whimbrel but it was a fair way off.
