Cosy

May 8th and the stove was lit in the Hut at 8am, brrrrr.

It's been in a month now and I'm super pleased that all my research paid off. On one level it's a metal box that gets hot, but actually it's a really complex design. It has a bullt on heat shield that turns the radiant heat into convected heat so that it can be placed far closer to combustibles than a traditional stove, and it warms the Hut really quickly (especially with the additional fan) . Of course the glass front still radiates, so it's cosy to huddle up to like I did this morning.

I'd like Spring and Summer to make an appearance now.
