LD 411 Recycled Soup

Waiting for the results to start coming today - as I had a column to write that couldn't be done until I knew them - I spent part of the morning making the ultimate recycled soup.

That is an odd way to describe prawn bisque , but having had the prawn tails themselves last night, the shells and debris provided not just a good stock but the basic element for the next day soup itself. 

The finished article is my extra photo and  I am glad I did it, because the day that was in it, as the Irish say, definitely called for something warm.
