Flagging

What a filthy old day! I haven't been out anywhere today apart from a quick trip into the garden with the camera. Even  Cato, our stay out all day cat was in by lunchtime.

These lovely irises have chosen a bad time to come into flower. The wind and rain are blowing them all over the place even though they're tucked into a quiet corner. I took a few shots and most were blurred by movement (I don't know why I tend to be hesitant to move the ISO up when on modern cameras high ISO noise is rarely a problem until you go stratospheric). This one came out nicely and I've darkened the background a little to hide the trellis which is on the wall behind.
