Granny’s Bonnet

The aquilegia, or Granny’s Bonnet as my Mum called them, have suddenly burst into flower in our garden the last couple of days and are making a show of themselves.

We’ve been feeling a bit lethargic after yesterday’s jabs so gave the Saturday run a miss this morning and have had a pretty quiet day, apart from our regular Saturday afternoon walk. 

Sophie’s coming for a sleepover shortly, as Kate is meeting an old friend for a meal in a local pub later.
