I don't usually post portrait pictures, but this was my clear favourite today; I took it in portrait orientation to catch both the tall parent and tiny gosling...
Im spotted goslings on Mitcham Common when cycling back from a work errand last week, so we went back today to see how they were getting on. There are a pair of geese with 8 goslings, although one is smaller and slower than the other seven, so stunted or adopted perhaps.
We also saw some sweet 'tweeny mallardlings and two individual tiny cootlings.
