Dwars door Brugge

Dwars door Brugge( transl straight through Bruges) is a kind of marathon (15km) which departs from the lake of love and runs around and in Bruges with the arrival somewhere back near the train station. This is an annual event around the same period (first sunday of may). Last year the evnt was cancelled due to corona outbreak. This year the evnt will be held during sat- sunday. People participate in small groups or bubles. The maraton starts at 9 am till 17 pm . Normally it is like 4000 people running through the streets. Today i saw now and then somebody running.
I took this picture in between my working shift. This is near the Spaanse loskaai (Spanish discharging quay). I took like the essence of bruges , hotel tourists historic bridge and the participant of the event.
