Snow Again

Wet snow. Cold, damp unpleasant weather. A good day for a trip to Blackwell's bookshop; 3 for 2 "Very Short Introduction" books for me (The Blues, Modernism, and Art History, since you ask), and a beautiful hardback copy of Thomas Mann's 'Buddenbrooks', in the original German for Mrs BrB. I can read it in a fine German accent (I lived in Nurnberg for two years) but understand about 10%. Mrs BrB wants to keep her German intact (she's Dutch, as if that explains it).

This was the scene up on the golf course this morning, before it melted.
