Cumbria Here I Come

Wind turbines Clacton on Sea

I woke up this morning to find a miniature lion stood on the garden fence! I reached for the camera but by the time I found it and switched on the moment had gone! He was still there though but sitting down with his back to me. I managed to get him to turn around but the effect wasn't as good as when he was standing. In case you think I've lost the plot I was in fact looking at a ginger long haired cat with a huge mane! Never seen one of these before and have no idea what type of cat it is. Will put it on flikr later on.

Today was my last day in Clacton and it was hard saying goodbye to the family. My brother from South Africa went home yesterday and my older sister and brother in law took him to Heathrow for his flight. My sister from Perth is here for another two weeks yet and my mum is enjoying her daily visits.

On my way home I stopped off to say goodbye to my nephew at the family cafe and as I was getting into the car I spotted the wind turbines which had been hidden in fog and mist all the time I was there. There are 48 of these out at sea and I always like looking at this clump!

Am behind at looking at journals and will catch up over the next couple of days
