A very long time ago on this date I asked Mr G to dance at a friend's wedding. 10 years later on the same date we got married. Now our children are in their 20's. Today is the first time in all those years we are not a couple on this date. But I think the sadness is behind us now and we are intent on supporting each other to find our respective happy places.

Good things today: these lovely flowers from him, a good outcome on the survey issue after I wrote a robust response, and the sheer wonderfulness of my family and friends.
