New work

Balancing working and painting. My son has recently finished another piece. He is so hardworking and talented but the art world is very fickle? What makes one artist successful over another? I suppose like any other creative it’s difficult to assess? Wishing him the success he deserves.

When I was working Friday meant the start of the weekend but now I’m retired it’s one BIG weekend! Today was a busy day - went cycling, a visit to the nursery for more plants, took up two pairs of trousers, made a fish pie for dinner, made a cake and unpicked some of my tapestry ( went wrong last night, probably not concentrating after I was tired!).
