Ajuga reptans

Is commonly known as blue bugle, bugleherb, bugleweed, carpetweed and common bugle. It is an herbaceous flowering plant, in the mint family, native to Europe. It is invasive in parts of North America.

An infusion of dried, blooming plant parts is said to help against rheumatism, stomach ulcers, angina and diarrhea. Applied externally, it helps against skin inflammation, hemorrhoids and inflammation of the mucous membranes.
