One Of My Favourites

I've been waiting for this - the first flower head of a poppy.  It usually takes a while before it pops but I love it when they do.

I was in a telephone meeting this morning where I had an idea.  A bona fide idea.  And I managed to express my idea coherently.  And my colleagues approved of the idea.  Gosh I felt competent for nearly a minute.

The day has been punctuated by small cats chirping and playing with paper balls.  All said paper balls ended up floating in a bowl of water - the kittens like doing that for some reason.

It's now Friday evening - goodbye work, see you on Monday.  

Temperatures are meant to soar this weekend.  Like 29°C (84°F).  It's about 11°C now - that's quite a jump.
