Rose

We planted this rose in our front garden some years ago. The poor thing at times gets covered in aphids, and then they disappear. But it keeps blooming at the right times of the year. It has the most beautiful scent with a hint of musk.

I took this in the last of the daylight which is often the best time for bringing out colours in a delicate subject.
