...and down went the basketball hoop. Think we need to weigh the base down better. In any event, it was a beautiful cool blue day, and the red maple (the Gingerbread Tree, as we call it) is glowing away. This doesn't do it justice.

Found out this afternoon that I.'s close friend tested positive for the virus. This means I. will be quarantining for the next two weeks. Hopefully all will be well; I.'s had her two shots, after all, and just needs to stay home because it hasn't been two weeks since the second one. 

Felix got very spooked a few days ago. I don't know what scared him; he jumped at something invisible to me and reverted to his fearful self. We're giving him lots of space and encouragement, and hopefully he's coming around again. Slowly.
