Keeping on Jumping
We went and visited my brother and his family this morning. We needed to give one of the girls her birthday present, and they also had a present for the Youngest. Each of the cousins had made the Youngest a card, which was lovely. We had the Eldest's best friend with us, and the 7 kids all ran feral for a while. They all just get on so well.
We came home, had lunch, and then I went over to a nearby neighbour, who is in my Reel Girls Fishing Competition team (for next weekend). We have to have a theme/costume, so she had been out yesterday and bought supplies. Her and I made a start to our Fishing Fairies costumes. They're looking great! I had to leave her to it for the Husband to be able to go and play football. Her daughter ended up at our place, and she slotted in well with the kids here. They played a very elaborate Barbie game which entailed trading with fake money and having garage sales.
The tide was high this evening, so we went down to Maraetai for some more wharf jumping. It definitely is the thing of the moment for our family. I didn't go in, as I've managed to pick up a cold which has knocked me a bit sideways, so I stayed on the sidelines with my trusty camera. Fish and chips for tea.
Another lovely Sunday.
